Are you aware that you can be penalised for not having fluid in a vehicle's screen washer bottle?
It's common sense that you make sure you do but I wasn't aware it was an offense if it was empty. You learn something every day. Just a bit of trivia.

@Peaches Neither had I. It seems common sense to me to do so and I usually add a [b]tiny[/b] bit of washing up liquid to the mix to make sure the windscreen is clean.

That's completely fair. If your unfit to keep your vehicle in top operating order you shouldn't be driving. People's lives depend on that vehicle being in complete control. Wiper fluid is a simple thing to check if someone can't tent to that then they're lacking in responsibility.

Rule 112 of the Highway Code states: “Never sound your horn aggressively. You must not use your horn while stationary on the road, or when driving in a built-up area between the hours of 11.30pm and 7am, except when another road user poses a danger.” The potential punishment is a £1000 fine.
Have a horn free day! Practically impossible on UK roads nowadays

Also, did you know it is an offence to use your mobile phone even while parked, if your engine is still switched on (Section 110, Road Vehicles Regulations) Carries 6 penalty points on your driving licence & a nice little fine of £2,500 if you are driving a bus, coach or lorry 😊 *Includes while stopped at lights & in traffic queues

@Gumba1000 i think theres two different ones. One for summer tires and one for winter tires.
