Thoughts on the fact that the teen who licked a half-gallon of Blue Bell ice cream and put it back on the shelf could get up to 20 years in prison?

Blue Bell is charging her with product tampering, which is a felony in the state of Texas. I think its time people are held accountable for their stupid actions. People need to learn that ALL actions have consequences.....If she gets 20 years....thats her fault. if she gets a hefty fine and a few years of probation....thats fine too.

My guess is that they may give her a prison sentence to make an example of her to stop all the others. On a side note i would have thought that ice cream would be sold in tamper-proof packaging?

Depends on the case. Let the judge decide. That's his job. If the crime doesn't fit the punishment, then either vote him out or change the minimums. No one can judge without all the evidence, which won't come out until after the trail is complete.
