And many women who get abortions can’t afford the healthcare to keep themselves or their baby healthy throughout the pregnancy.

Alabama has an atrocious healthcare system.

If this law goes through, they are taking a problem and making it worse.

If you want to make things better, fix all the other shit first.

My sister once had a tubal pregnancy. The fetus had a 0% chance of survival and had she not aborted, she'd likely have been left crippled from the waist down for the rest of her life, and unable to conceive another child.

The minute you decide you don't want to have that child you have most likely sentenced it a death.. If there is no guarantee of who will bring it up.
One is a slow abusive life and painful death and one a quick one.
To have a false moral someone will 'get rid of it' because they don't have to see the consequences of their actions. Instead of taking the guilt they punish a life who did not ask for it.

As long as you don't 'kill' it.. When it doesn't really have a choice in the matter.
