The thing about anxiety is, you body says SLEEP and your mind just won’t let it happen.

What’s your trick to sleeping in panic mode. Exhausted but can’t sleep. Starving but i can’t eat. what do you do?
Oh - this is horrible!!!

All tensed up in your mind, and your body craving sleep.... And you just end up worse or with a migraine.

I used to go walking.... Them come home, some Chocolate and then bed using asmr.

But we all find our own.

Now, what that crap means in real.life is;

There are things in.life each of us finds soothimg -
Textures
Smells
Sights
Sounds
Tastes.

These videos usually deal with sounds.
And there is a HUGE variety.

Personally I've found i like RAIN, fire crackling and weirdly enough, the ambient sound of a spaceship.

My daughter loves rhe sound of things tapping on wood, thunderstorms, and the sound of a man talking.

But, I found i'm a bit of a sound snob - took me half a day to find the right rain sounds - apparently i like RAIN against a window sound.

Anywho, to cut a.long story short - check them.out, yu.might find something yu like.
The sounds help.engage the mind.

Sometimes may play 2 or three at the same time
Snowstorm+fire+ ticking clock.
Another thing-

Theres so.much amazing music too.
People like Roald Velden, and Shingo Nakamura

The first does like chill progressive music ( amd some more uptempo)
I find soothimg music can just make me feel depressed when the energy of anxiety is present.
This stuff is sorta got a beat, but relaxing too.

Look up 'silk' music.

None of this may be your thing.



Also, there are videos of guided medication, find a voice ypu like - try it.
I didn't think it would work - o chose one on ' find your spirit guide😁 was thinking

This is rubbish, till later found myself waking up 2 hrs later, and realised i fell asleep about 20 minutes in, which is amazing for me.


And - one last thing - lavender.

We had friends when I was little that had a lavender farm.
Yoy were only allowed out in the fields for so long, coz pepple were known to drop if they stayed too long.

Idk - hope ypu find something that works.

Sometomes it's a multi pronged attack.
Eat this. Do that and listen to something.

In the past, I relied on alcohol. I'm determined not to in 2019 and so far, I don't have an answer. I'm hoping to find a balance over time.
@DoubleRings Yeah - the body build up a tolerance.

God - i should'nt say this, bit the secret is to cycle between different farms of sedative.
No more than 3 days on any one, and always try to alseep naturally first.
Use meds say if you've made it to midnight - No sleep Then resort to one.

They are way to easy to rely upon, then you build tolerance, then in two in years You're downing them.like lollies - and they still dont work.

We are genetically wired that way.
Not enough - amd things like depression, and anxiety can kick in
Too much...and oddly enough, the same thing can happen.

And YES!!!

Heavy exercise a few Hours before is..
...an AWESOME way to get sleep.

Whether one can get off once ass to do it - that's am entirely different problem😁
@DoubleRings in honesty when I've gone about 5 days,with minimal sleep, i'll have 2 black Russians.
Works wonders.

Bit it's a case of balance.

I only alow myself two nights of a chemical indulgence before going back to other methods

But then, 2 nights does wonders.

I color in an adult coloring book or I read and that seems to help distract me from anxiety

I know when the body is tired but the mind is not and wont let you sleep. I try thinking about nice things in life and also try to relax my body, loosen the muscles. Normally this works for me.

Whats bothering your mind ?

Anxiety is linked to b vitamin deficiencies, barring PTSD or the likes. Nutritional yeast is a natural alternative to get them.

@DoubleRings probably synthetic which is hard for the body to assimilate. Look into nutritional yeast. It is delicious, tastes like cheese. I sprinkle it on all my veggies
I take Valium.
