Cosmetic surgery...what's peoples opinions?

SW-User
I mean... I'm still not sure. If it's really needed in order to make someone feel better about themselves then...I love it. But when it's nothing but a trend and people do it because the only way to feel good is to be just like everyone else, e.g. lip fillers nowadays, I'm gonna judge.

@SW-User some people do go overboard with size. Giant lips, boobs and butts are on trend. Think those people will have the surgery undone when they get older?
SW-User
@JacksonBlue Hmmmm not sure. It's up to them. I mean, some people genuinely feel better when they do that and it does look weird to me but I'm glad for them.
Love. If it makes someone happy and feel good about themselves, how could it be a bad thing.

@JacksonBlue i have a friend. A beautiful 27 year old woman. Shes tiny...4ft 9 and very slim with an athletic figure. 2 years ago she had breast implants because she felt self conscious of her flat chest. ( it was small...but not flat) she was happy with the results...but then felt top heavy....so had butt implants.
Now... she constantly says shes fat....i somehow think she'll never be happy....
@RubySoo unfortunately that is true for some people. I may be one of them lol.
@JacksonBlue if she's happy its fine...whatever. its her face. But in my opinion she went a little overboard. 😂 [image deleted]

Depends on the reason. For medical reasons yes....where necessary. Self esteme issues on occassion....but imnot a fan of face lifts and lip fillers etc. It catches up in the end and always looks worse than natural aging.

Lesser is better otherwise you start to resemble a melted wax figure
JacksonBlue · 31-35, M
@Longpatrol Where do you think the line is? When does it become too much?
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
@JacksonBlue not sure about that. I think people who go for plastic surgery already have a skewed image of themselves so, I think no matter what they do it will remain skewed. For these folk, I don’t think a “line” exists.

Superficial reasons....
I want bigger lips/boobs
I have wrinkles
🙄no! ugh

😌age gracefully

If there a legitimate/medical reason...yes

Live a clean life and you don't need it

@BEENOV not always true. You could have an accident that leaves you disfigured and surgary could help.

It's a No from me

People's bodies are their own domain and what they choose to do with it is their decision.

I’m down for corrective if something is wrong but not those fake nightmare looking faces.
SW-User
@JacksonBlue Esp those. And one level is always bigger. I’m into natural more myself. Or a nose you can’t even breathe through? Why?
JacksonBlue · 31-35, M
@SW-User Agreed. Why change from being uniquely you to being an off the shelf caricature of fake instagram beauty.

Sorry gets me mad sometimes.
SW-User
@JacksonBlue Cookie cutter clones? I’m not down either. Even quirks and scars are cool. But I’m unusual. :)

A lot of times women will have breast augmentation after a child or children, that helos them in many ways
BEENOV · 51-55, M
That is classified as reconstructive
A personal decision. Whatever makes a person feel good about his or herself, is really no one else's business.
