Would you be scared if someone told you they love you after a month of dating ?

Vivaci Best Comment
Some people just know...some take a lot of convincing. It all depends on how many affairs you've had in the past. The more you've had, the longer you take to realize you're in love.
@Vivaci THIS ^
@Stark aww....glad you agree, Stark! You're a wise gal. 🌸🤗
@Vivaci 🤗

If they've only known you for a month, definitely. MASSIVE red flag.

But if you've known each other for a while and have only been dating for a month, it makes things a lil different
@WittyKittyfeelinShitty I understand that. Smart
@Stark hope you're alright Stark. Love you girl ❤️❤️❤️
@WittyKittyfeelinShitty 🤗❤️❤️

Maybe. Have we known each other a long time? That makes some difference.
@Straylight what do you mean you skipped the talking phase?🤔
Straylight · 31-35, F
@Stark I may be using the term wrong. I know some people wait to see how it goes before being exclusive, but I do from the first date. Like I dont keep a couple of potentials to date.
@Straylight oh well, I consider “talking/dating” the process of getting to know someone before deciding to make them boyfriend/girlfriend. There are some people who date/talk to multiple people at the same time which there’s nothing wrong with that, because there’s technically no commitment, but I only talk/date one person at a time.

I think it depends on the relationship. There are the few who know within a month's time. Notice I said few. Most times it takes a little bit before love is truly determined.
@BlueVeins why?
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Stark because I'm way more scared of being alone forever.
Tminus6453 · M
Yeah...its not possible to know someone that well but peoples definition of "love" vary according to what suits them best
SwampFlower · 31-35, F
Terrified but it was mutual. Sometimes ya just know.
@SwampFlower That’s interesting.

@SW-User why?
SW-User
@Stark too short to really know someone's character and we all know how important character is in a relationship.
@SW-User I agree.
I would be concerned
Drewman · 46-50, M
Personally no. When you know, you know. But I wouldn't tell lol
Drewman · 46-50, M
@Stark last relationships we used replacement words.... I cherish you, adore you etc until it just seemed dumb
@Drewman that seems wiser honestly.
Drewman · 46-50, M
@Stark haha say I heart you. I have someone I've been in a few dates with and mailed her a sympathy card and signed "all my love" and kind of freaked myself out
SW-User
I've had it happen after a few weeks. Scared the living crap out of me. I don't fall in love easily.
@SW-User same for me. It’s take me a lot longer than the average person. So, if it’s been said in such a short time I start getting a bit alarmed. But, some people have mentioned they just know so idk.
SW-User
@Stark I know when someone is the right fit for me immediately. Falling in love takes time. I need to get to know their character before I can develop feelings for them.
raysam363 · 31-35, F
I'd say that's concerning. Now if they said they really liked you and wanted to see where the relationship goes, that's more normal.
@raysam363 I agree

If it's a guy they usually say it, so you say it back. So bloody insecure!! 🤷‍♀️
@Harriet03 🤣 that sounds about right. I feel like it’s more so so you can say it. But, I’m not saying it unless I mean it 😤
Harriet03 · 41-45, F
@Stark I haven't dated for years, but they don't change hun!
It defies explanation....

but sometimes you just know....

(Been together over 30 years...)
@Threepio True
Rutterman · 46-50, M
I might question whether they really are in love, but I suppose it is possible.
69TommyDe · 26-30, M
No, cause right now I'm more lonely than sharing my love with someone
sarabee1995 · 26-30, F
Yeah, I think so. I don't move that fast.
Carissimi · 70-79, F
Only if it wasn’t mutual. It’s not common, but can happen very fast.
SW-User
nah tbh I’d expect it sooner bc I’d only date someone once they’re past the best friend zone; but if you’re referring to dating casually that would be strange
@SW-User 😂
@SW-User and why do you think that ?
SW-User
@Stark just too rare to fall for someone in a month
SW-User
No it happened to.me
@SW-User How did the relationship turn out?
I'd be a little wary.
Aww..thank you for BA, Stark!!💕🌹
Jimmy2016 · 61-69, M
🤔...yes...
@Jimmy2016 why?
Effloresce · 26-30, F
I wasn’t with my current boyfriend, but we had been talking a long time before we got together, so we were already pretty close
@Effloresce Well, I think that’s different if you’ve known each other longer than you’ve been dating.
EnigmaticGeek · 61-69, M
Not as scared as I am when she tells me she loves me and we've never even met in person or talked by phone. 🙄
Yulianna · 22-25, F
have you been reading my thoughts?
Yeah, it would seem like things were moving rather fast, unless we’d been friends for quite awhile before dating.
Mrsbetweenfatandfit · 26-30, F
My husband claims he knew 3 days in. We’re both lucky he didn’t tell me that early because he would’ve gotten blocked lol
@Mrsbetweenfatandfit LOL. And when did you know ?
Mrsbetweenfatandfit · 26-30, F
@Stark I suspected far sooner than I’m even willing to admit. But I told myself I must be a nutcase and kept the crazy feels in until a few months had passed.
Justenjoyit · 56-60, M
Not realy🙂
@Justenjoyit why’s that ?
Justenjoyit · 56-60, M
@Stark Because you could have been friends first.
@Justenjoyit oh well, I’m speaking of terms of not knowing each other, but for a month.
