Does forgiveness come natural for you or do you have to work for it to happen?

It comes easier once I've had a lenghty serious dicussion with the person, and have complete comprehesion of what led that person to do that something that upsetted me.

If you feel you must, then do forgive. If the person is a shitbag, though, forgive them and then cut all contact. Just because you're forgiving them doesn't mean you find them worthy enough of your precious lifetime.

I personally needed God's help.
I couldn't do it on my own.

I tend to try to understand why someone did something, then I learn from it. If there is no understanding (and the person is simply being evil) I cut them off and don't give them a second thought.

I forgive pretty easily. Sometimes I think it hurts me too much to be mad.

So I forgive easily. But I don't always forget

Usually if I write somebody off I am really done. I’ll forgive but don’t really want to be bothered anymore.

I find it hard to forgive, it's easier to walk away and forget their existence but forgiving them takes time.

I forgive people easily unfortunately I’ve never been able to forgive myself

It can take a while and can't be forced imho
