Who can we trust in connection with real, honest and straitforward information in connection with Covid-19 ?

I've been hearing and reading all kinds of things so I decided to read up on some recent things published by Doctors of medicine because they are the experts.

Now I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have done that.
Apparently neurologists in the UK have found some troubling information.

According to them some patients who had mild symptoms and recovered easily then showed later signs of brain and nerve damage in their bodies.

They are worried that another pandemic in connection with brain and nerve damage is going to happen.

WTF ?!?

I don't think too many sources are trustworthy. We know, now, that the WHO have sold out to the Chinese, so I wouldn't pay too much attention in that quarter.

I grew up with two scientists, and one thing I learned is that they fight among themselves, and seldom agree on anything, (re: published articles, etc.), and they will go to the mats in outrage and wrestle one another over one fine point or another.

Because this virus is exhibiting some surprising traits, and because Wuhan scientists were tampering with it's RNA, (published in 2015), and because China destroyed all the original notes,no one can say definitively how this virus will evolve among its victims. Any scientist or doctor who pontificates upon it and says they believe this or that will happen is probably full of BS.

Over and over again we see "studies" with insufficient numbers, "studies" that have violated known scientific procedures, and retracted studies, such as with the politicization of hydroxychloroquine. We now know it is, contrary to the false retracted study, highly effective as a prophylactic among young, healthy people age 20-50 who are not yet ill. It appears to reduce the death rate among those young and healthy people who contract the virus after taking it to 50% of the previous death rate.

@cherokeepatti It's all about the money.
SW-User
@4meAndyou They went hard on Trump when he said he was taking hydroxychloroquine but they went awfully silent when a recent study showed positive results for it as a prophylactic.
4meAndyou · F
@SW-User You've got that right. Shut them right up. Trump hatred and the fact that the elite drug companies can't profit from such a cheap drug made them eff us over. My own son refuses to believe me about this drug. Says it will cause heart conditions and stroke.

The Trump haters have caused deaths by doing this. They have caused SO much harm.
The first thing you have to wade through are the nut cluster conspiracy theorists, of which my country over-produces representatives. 🤦🏽‍♀️🙄
@SW-User Didn’t you block me ? Take your madness and f*ck off, won’t you ? 🖕🏽
@Wraithorn Lol, good day to you, too, my friend. 😅

The problem with covid19 is that new information is being discovered literally every day, and that information can change and replace old information.

A lot of anti-science complain about how scientists change their minds and aren't consistent but that's like... the point.

And what research seems to be pointing to is that covid-19 is a stranger, more insidious disease than a simple lung problem. But hey - that can change as we learn more. It goes in a direction but directions shift. Frustrating as hell, but turns out the process of discovery with a disease takes a lot longer than say, I had anticipated.

@Wraithorn 🤗
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@Wraithorn MissGaga is the best. I think we go back like eight years at this point.

And yeah the blood clot stuff is TERRIFYING. Young people are just abruptly dying of blood clots which is uh... really scary.
BittersweetPotato · 31-35, F
@CountScrofula 🤗 Cheers my good old friend 🍻 (but just be careful, for all you know, I might have been a serial killer in disguise all of these years O.o waiting for the right moment 😈)

Yea the blood clots are terrifying, new info and was not spoken about during the first phase of Covid 19 .. It is probably not just about Scientists discovering new things based on the ‘existing’ info that they’ve always had and just ‘changing their mind’ if we are going to use this phrase, but actually about the fact that the virus itself is evolving and changing! Plus different people react differently to it (I am honestly doubting that i may have had it during a period of time when i had high fever and difficulty to breathe but it just passed like that) but hey, if i had been diabetic, I may have reacted differently (if i did have it). So it is absolutely ignorant to complain about change of information, in such circumstances! Plus, I’d much rather scientists changing their mind in light of new info, than sticking to their old views and opinions, and not keeping up!

First of all doctors of medicine are salespeople for the drug companies and insurance who pay their salaries. And until you realize that, you will be lost not knowing whom to trust. The more ppl are diagnosed with covid the more cash in these " experts" pockets.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@SW-User I have to believe that the majority of doctors take the hippocratic oath to heart. They can't all be corrupt.
I understand what you say though. Thanks for answering.
SW-User
@Wraithorn believe what you want. Illusions for peace of mind, far from reality. You're welcome.
@SW-User Our country isn’t necessarily the world. Keep that in mind.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@cherokeepatti I'm not American and none of this affects me. The entire world is dealing with this problem. The American deep state doesn't matter. It's one country out of hundreds.

Fauci doesn't matter. One guy in one country.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@CountScrofula You think it doesn’t matter but it’s all connected all over the world.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@cherokeepatti The world governments are not nearly as smart and competent as you think they are, nor do they have the power you think they do. If a conspiracy existed, I would know about it because of my job.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
It is unfortunate that politicians try to run amuck the whole medical industry. It's even happening here in the US. Especially here in the US really.

If it doesn't fit in with their own political views it just isn't true to them so they hide the facts and try to silence or obfuscate any real facts.

You can see this on your own post. Those that don't believe covid19 is a threat have always been political pundits here and have no real medical training what so ever. Not even for emergency situations like in war time.

They just don't even have the most basic of medical training and are only here to hide the truth because the truth doesn't agree with their own political views.

More than that this virus situation involves money. Money that they just don't want to spend so they call it all a hoke and flood anyone that disagrees with their own political views.

Now that's turning against them they make conspiracy theories to further their lack of belief in the virus.

They have made the whole situation so bad that one can't see the truth. Unfortunately this exactly what they want. 😒

So what can you do to get real facts? You have to have patience. Dig further and discrimate between what is political and what is not. The CDC's own website no longer gives up to minute death rates. So you have to look further into the site. Do your own tabulations and so forth state by state. They just don't want the truth known!

@Wraithorn see my addition. It was becoming too long so I had to keep on adding to it.

Also. It much harder to do this on a cellphone, which is the only way I can post or reply.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@DeWayfarer Okay, thanks, I see it now.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@curiosi What does this actually mean ?
curiosi · 61-69, F
@Wraithorn Doctors/scientists that don't go along will be black listed and destroyed. This has been going on forever. Dr. Phyllis Mullenix is one of the most vocal in warning us about what is going on, now this Dr. has written a book, "Plauge of Corruption ".
4meAndyou · F
@Wraithorn I read an article about it. Dr. Mikovits was fired, and her name was removed from her own work. Later on, Fauci and one other higher up at the CDC took credit for her work.

I guess what this really highlights is inner corruption within the CDC.
revenant · F
No. Where I am doctors totally disagree among themselves
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@revenant So it would seem that even doctors are still on a steep learning curve in connection with this virus.
revenant · F
@Wraithorn There is huge bias. There is political dogma. There is censorship and silence on certain facts. There is skewing the truth. Professor Raoult about the hydrocholoroquine has been demonised and doctors who do not agree with MSM are uncertain about their future and are not provided funding.
There is ignoring certain factors and there is too much concentration on other factors.
Yep the human element is very real.
Miram · 31-35, F
Overwhelming scientific consensus , and peer reviewed studies should be the first source of information. I do understand that currently some research is proceeded by political agendas. Which is why results sometimes end up being contradictory. It all takes time.

What the public needs to know is prevention measures, that's what essential. And the only true way to do so is by limiting all contact.

Drugs and complications come second, when people fail to protect themselves and others.

What you're mentioning has been documented in Japan few months ago but not enough evidence to confirm it. It is autoimmune encephalitis and doctors do know it is possible complication with all viruses, not just Covid-19.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@Miram Hello Miram. Thank you for commenting practical advice. Much appreciated sis'. 🤗
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@Miram So it basically seems that our worst enemy in connection with contracting this virus is Human nature itself.
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
Yep. There are symptoms that are lasting months in some people.

This is a novel - new virus that none of us are immune to. None. Now while some of us lucky ones may come out just fine, some of us could possibly have lifelong complications that doctors aren't even able to get a handle on just yet.
Ingwe · F
Morning Wraithorn.
Yes some people had to learn how to walk again.
BTW
Do you know anything about our troops in Mozambique?
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@Ingwe Jeez...well I hope our government has fun dealing with that, or at least trying to deal with it.
Ingwe · F
@Wraithorn Isis said that they'll come take care of us here at home if we interfere
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@Ingwe Well, I recommend that ISIS chill out. They are not exactly our enemies, yet. And Russia, who whipped their ass in Syria, is our friend.
You’d think MSM would be licking their lips at a story like that.. 🤔
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout MSM is a news chanel ?
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@Wraithorn It's a pejorative in his mind for what the rest of us accept as reliable information.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
The thing to remember is this is a novel coronavirus. Nobody knows yet exactly how it behaves , never mind the full extent of the long-term damage it can cause. You only have to listen to the testimonials of people who have had it to realise recovery is not straightforward.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@RodionRomanovitch Thank you Pez. So the only thing we know for certain so far is that we know nothing for certain ?
Well that's just grand innit ?
😏
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@Wraithorn Or to be more precise mate ...... as scary as shit. 😱

@SW-User Googled all those people. They've all been called out by the greater scientific and medical community for outright lies and misinformation (some very easily identifiable lies at that i.e. Covid 19 is caused by 5G!?). And of course, some of them are anti-vaccines too, which is just the cherry on top.

What's scarier here is that you took anything they said seriously. Do you have a degree, or any qualifications whatsoever that suitably equip you to assess the veracity of their claims? How could you possibly know that it's not "Dr" Rashid Buttar lying to you?

Truth is you can't - I bet you shared it simply because it conforms with your bias. It's people like you, and these so called "Doctors", who'll end up making the world a worse place.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@SW-User With all due respect your answer here may be a good example of untrustworthy information. In that case it is by default a nice addition to my post. Thanks for that.
goldenorchid · 46-50, F
@SW-User you seriously need to follow the top line in your post, "google these doctors" they have all retracted their statements and deleted their videos.
goldenorchid · 46-50, F
They've also found permanent heart and lung damage, thi is beginning to look like we've triggered an evolutionary step.
Wraithorn · 51-55, M
@goldenorchid I was just wondering about how this is going to change our evolution because, all things considered, it seems like it is here to stay.
SW-User
HAHAHA OH SHIT 😰
