Got really close to someone just to find out they were fake

All I did was asked for a pic of them giving the peace sign with there fingers. They then got mad and blocked me 😣

I knew this guy here from another site and he had sent me a picture there. I ran in to him here and he started chatting with me and sent another one. I said "heeeey, you look nothing like the other picture you sent me last year?!" 😐 He stopped talking to me!😆 He had forgotten he had sent me a picture back then. I have major trust issues so it takes me a long time to even begin to trust someone I can't see.👀

Could have been annoyed. Have had one person ask me to do that once, very rudely after calling me a bunch of nasty shit just cause I became an M overnight lol. Makes them seem entitled

It's one of two ways. Either they have sent you a bunch of pics already of somebody else. Which makes them catfishing. Or they have sent you legitimate pics already and were hurt that you didn't trust them after all the time you have been chatting to them . Either way it's a lose lose situation

@Peaches I am not saying it was on a conscious level.. Often people will allow their infatuation of the projected image to cloud their judgement.. This leads them to overlook warning signs because they want the image to be real..

Many people, men and woman, are vulnerable when they allow their heart and dreams to shut down their minds..

It's best to have the knowledge that no one is perfect.. If you have that knowledge then a person who comes across projecting a perfect image will cause alarm bells to ring in your mind..

We can all be deceived by a smooth operator / chameleon when we are new to the game of life.. But the sooner we gain some wisdom and start seeing things as they actually are.. Not as we wish it to be in our idealistic imaginations.. The sooner we can move past the fakes to find someone real and acceptable.. Not perfect.. But who's positive attributes out way their quirks..
