i know a way how america would quickly change their gun laws.

have a foundation that gives out free guns to every black person
hippyjoe195561-69, M
So black people don't own guns now? Did you ever think you might be a racist.
katielassF
@hippyjoe1955 She might not be a racist but she's definitely as dumb as a box of rocks. Maybe they should throw her at the next shooter. What's a few more holes in her head.
katielassF
@Marceline You sure are retarded
BlueRainF
@katielass weird
TexChikF
The vast majority of Americans want guns , NRA MEMBERSHIP IS BALLOONING to record levels. our constitution protects our rights to own guns . Disarming America just isn鈥檛 going to happen.

Your racist idea that black Americans owning guns is some how wrong or that they intend to do something bad because they own one is offensive to all Americans .
katielassF
@TexChik Only a racist would even think along those lines. And then try to project it onto someone else.
TexChikF
@katielass that is the American left !

@katielass debunking evil lies isn鈥檛 evil!!

Everyone supports gun control. It just differs where you draw the line. Most people think citizens shouldn't be allowed to own nukes. Or chemical weapons. Or anti-tank missiles, or artillery, or Gatling guns. So it's not a discussion about whether gun control should or shouldn't exist, just where the restrictions are.
@BlueMetalChick Chicago has cleaned up its act since Al Capone, eh?
BlueMetalChick26-30, F
@BiasForAction Most of the mob is in financial crimes now, racketeering and political manipulation, not the murder and jewel theft they used to.
@BlueMetalChick Thats where the money is

America will never change its gun laws. Gun ownership is part of the American consciousness and identity. The right to arms is more fundamental to the American psyche than other liberties. That's why we have sacrificed parts of the 4A and 5A while the 2A remains immutable.

From my seats this whole dialog is ingenuine. The left is striving for something fundamentally unattainable and the right is defending something that can't be threatened. Political theater at the expense of a huge amount of social division. Wonder who benefits from that? HMM. Both the political right and left.
BlueMetalChick26-30, F
@CopperCicada Don鈥檛 forget the 8A.
SimplyTracie26-30, F
I never thought of that but that would change the landscape a bit. I did hear a gun lover saying that there is absolutely no need for gun laws and everyone should own a gun. Second Amendment RULES he said.
chrisCAM
@SimplyTracie @TexChik Good. What I find lacking in many discussions dealing with passionate and sensitive issues, is respect.
SimplyTracie26-30, F
Thank you TexChik. I got your back too.
SimplyTracie26-30, F
@chrisCA Very true.
GoodoldBob61-69, M
Why do laws need to change? Black people can have guns now. And more of them should than do.
chrisCAM
@GoodoldBob Unfortunately it matters to some police officers. 馃槒
BlueMetalChick26-30, F
@chrisCA Your profile picture is perfect because I can never read any of your comments without hearing it in Brian Griffin's voice and that always makes it better 馃槀

@room101 I want that knife launcher now.
vetguy199151-55, M
Actually one if the first things the nra did was teach former slaves to handle firearms and defend themselves
TexChikF
Every black person ? Regardless of Age or criminal history ?
katielassF
@TexChik She's confused or just ignorant Doesn't know the dems are the former kkk. They just released them from one plantation for another.
TexChikF
@katielass I guess she thinks only white Americans can buy a gun ?
katielassF
@TexChik Yep, pretty ignorant. Stupid too.
katielassF
Those who want them already have them stupid.
GoodoldBob61-69, M
@katielass Sadly, no. I'm from Chicago where buying a gun legally is an awful hassle. The result is that honest people who should be trusted to own them often don't while criminals who should not be allowed to own them often do.
katielassF
[@GoodoldBob well, I suggest those who can't get one sue the state. It's already been done successfully in another state. The SC ruled he had the right to own a gun to protect himself and the state could not infringe on his rights. Why are people sitting ducks when they can sue and win and the state has to pick up the tab. A few more of those cases and the left, who infringes on people's constitutional rights, will get the message and get down to the business of actually thinking about reasonable common sense laws instead of blathering about it while proposing the same stupid ones that are unconstitutional. They need to understand that they are not going to infringe on our constitutional rights. Not going to happen.
GoodoldBob61-69, M
@katielass Hmm .. where I live now in NC legal purchase of firearms by law abiding people is much easier. And concealed carry permits are not that hard to get. And the number of shootings is much much lower. Could it all be related somehow? 馃檮

There are 1.12 guns per person in the USA thats enough already, sharing is caring! Problem solved!
