I Love My Husband

I can still say that I do, even though our marriage never worked out, and he passed away last year. He was my family. I miss him.

My one regret is that our marriage wasn’t a happy one. Thats the sad part. No going back. It is what it is, yet I still recall him with fondness and love. I can say “if only” till the cows come home, but it does no good to wish for what can never be. It’s gone. He’s gone. Forever.

The End.

Hey C, it pains me to read this.
I care for you, and wish the happiness and joy you deserve.
I wish I had more to say, but I haven't the wit.
If there is one thing I learned from you, it is sometimes we need to embrace our sorrow as much as our joy.

Just know I care, for you, both my wife and I do

@Groofydorkgerdo Thanks, G.
I was just thinking that it’s been 7-years since I joined EP, and now SW when it first opened. Much has changed, and yet little has changed at the same time. I’ll officially be a senior citizen soon, and I remember being afraid to grow old alone. I was terrified of it, yet here I am living it. I don’t like it, but that’s reality for you.
Thank you for your kindness...now and in past years. Bless you and your wife.

@Carissimi you are only as old as you allow yourself to be! Age is just a number.

I don’t buy that.@samueltyler2 If age was just a number, my future job prospects would be great, and I’d have men lining up to date me. As it is, my future job prospects (one that I enjoy and can actually do) are abysmal, and just better forget about the second part. That’s not even a remote possibility. However, I do feel 40 on the inside, which doesn’t help when I look 80 on the outside. 🤭

@Carissimi I bet you are not giving yourself enough credit. You may need to alter your trajectories, but you still can make it! Let's hear a little more optimism.

What can I say...I’m a realist. 🤷‍♀️@samueltyler2

@Carissimi how old are you? Are you in good health? The last is perhaps the most important.
