Nothing at all wrong with a man having feelings.
PhantomStorm · 31-35, M
@bijouxbroussard really? Especially with music there are a few songs that make me cry every time and even with I was with my last girlfriend I always thought she would think lesser of me honestly

@PhantomStorm sorry I should have been more clear. It songs like father son by Peter Gabriel because there’s a line exactly what me and my dad went through.

I never Had emotions towards songs

That was one of the ones that made it real for me though

I'm not a man but I can relate to this. I mean switching from a rather unemotional state into overly emotional state and having tears welled up in my eyes watching things that don't move other people and wouldn't have moved me in my earlier life either. I wish I could have an explanation and solution for it too because it's really annoying. I don't think it's gender related but it seems like it happens to women far more often than to men.

I think it's very human. It took me 3 and half decades to finally realise I had communication impairments and a personality disorder to live with. And of course I also believe that one's personal experience/trauma, and the ongoing global pandemic, all add to the situation.

It could be grief along with repressed emotions over time that have been shaken by your grief. It's not unnatural. I think your body and emotions are showing you signs that healing is needed.
It's cute
Nope ...not a useless rant .

It all makes sense ....lamenting the affection and love that you didn't see growing up .

I came from a family tjat was similar. Everyone used to comment how mature I was for my age.

Hit 21....and on3 day I broke....couldnt control my feelings.
Took me a few years to learn to do it .

Feelings need to be felt - the good, the bad . .and all the ones in between.

You're naturally doing wjat you're meant to do - feel.

It's just you have a bit of a back log to go thru 😁

It's very natural after my first break up.. I became extremely sensitive n used to cry on everything around me. It was almost impossible for me to be around people with a single sad thing. Took me some years to get back to normal.
