When someone says something bad about a politician you like, do you take it personally?

No, but I've never been attached to any politician like that and I hope I never do, unless it's a kid or spouse or something.

It sounds like a pretty screwy thing to do to wear your heart on someone else's sleeve.

No. Freedom of speech. I appreciate that we're allowed to talk shit about people in the government whether I agree with what's said or not.

Depends on what they say, but I do tend to take [b]some[/b] comments about Obama personally because I know they’re based on racial bias.
