Don juniors Condo deal in India and Ivanka's Trademarks in China got washed off the front pages even as they happened and the Trump Tower Toronto story that links Trump directly to Russian Banks and the US Mafia hardly seems to have registered. Each time some political nightmare for Sarah H drives another Trump debacle onto the front page. Talk about damaging the Brand.

Thanks for my BA. I suspect I am fortunate that the more open media and the different time zones mean our media often get a story like those up before the distractor rolls in have something to do with it.@whowasthatmaskedman

After 90% negativity from the press, why would any president or any human for that matter wish to dignify them or honor them with his presence? Poo like the photo above is responsible for the divided state of our nation. The liberal opinion press are MORE than responsible. We don't NEED the Russians to eff with us, because we have poo like this.

@Shewolfiie69 Trump knows damned well that Putin is lying, but if you want something in a negotiation you don't start by calling the other person a liar on a world stage. Trump took that hit on purpose. He wants Putin to feel as though he has a position at the bargaining table. Trump needs cooperation from Putin on several fronts, and a Putin who is publicly humiliated is less likely to lend help in Syria, or stop supplying NOKO with gas and oil.

"Great Distractor" is a political ploy used by many on both sides of the aisle. I think it is not that they are terrible at utilizing; rather that people are just more mindful of it now then in the past. If a magician uses the same "trick" too often for example; people are suddenly becoming aware as to how the trick really works. ^^;

Seriously has anyone ever heard a politician directly answer a question? Election cycle after election cycle whether a press conference or debate is held and a question asked the politician in question launches into a prepared statement on another subject often including an attack on another politician. Seems to be accepted as standard operating procedure.

Politicians always try to spin the story so they don't look so bad.
That's not what trump does. When shit starts to stick he immediately summons up the most convenient scapegoat possible.
When no scapegoat is readily available he just says some batshit crazy shit on twitter so people start talking about that instead.
We can agree that some level of distraction and obfuscation is typical of politicians. What trump does is just one step short of waving his hand out to the side and shouting "look over here!"
