If you have any questions about where Trump's allegiance lies..

"I have great confidence in my intelligence people, but I will tell you that President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today."

He also said he didn't "see any reason why" Russia would be responsible.

That's following a two-hour, closed door meeting. We have NO idea what was discussed. And won't.

And there you go. He just sold us all out on the world stage. The question is why.

He committed treason, plain and simple. His actions are unbecoming of a president, and damage the nation. He needs to be removed from office before his continuing actions create more damage to the country.

Republicans who say you are patriots--where are you? It is time to stand up and end the insanity, once and for all. You'll still have the office and Pence. Stand up before it is too late.
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
You’re right, we didn’t leave the EU that was my mistake. @Ynotisay
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@GlitterBug There was no need to bring race into the discussion unless you were doing it to make a point about his race. You could have just as easily said "What's the difference if he was born in Hawaii?" or "What's the difference if he went to law school?" or "What's the difference if he plays basketball?" None of those would make any sense in the context of the discussion, even though all of those reflect facts about Obama. Neither does mention of his race make any sense, particularly when a large number of Republicans are white supremacists that consider his race a negative.
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
Okay but I don’t consider his race negative, like the fact he was born in Hawaii and the fact he plays basketball it’s another fact that the color of his skin is black or more accurately dark brown. I’m just not understanding why it’s an issue to state that specific fact if it’s not meant to be racist. And as I’ve said a few times, it wasn’t meant to be racist at all. I agree the fact at all was irrelevant, I probably shouldn’t have included it but I don’t censor every message I send on here because someone might not like it. It’s not fair to accuse me of being racist or a white supremacist either. Just saying. @windinhishair

Dear god ... How can anyone support him after this????
Xuan12 · 36-40, M
@GlitterBug I don't know...if you google it, you you can find a statement from the FBI director at the time saying they received the server information.
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
@Xuan12 pretty sure at some point talking to putin trump specifically asked about the server that was missing
Xuan12 · 36-40, M
@GlitterBug Well, just because he asked doesn't mean it was. FBI Director said the FBI has the information. Of course it was Comey at the time, who Trump dismissed explicitly for investigating this whole Russian Collusion/Hacking affair.
This president is taking the side of a foreign country that has been our adversary for the last century. With 12-13 Russian nationals currently indicted for behaving in a adversarial manner towards this country by hacking our election process. And all Putin has to do is deny it all and Trump’s good with everything ? That makes Trump look either stupid or treasonous. Or both. What does Putin have on him ? 🤔
@GlitterBug It wasn’t classified initially. That’s the thing. They decide it’s classified because she used a personal server. And the last time they went after her, right before the election it wasn’t even her personal emails but that of her aide. That was some timing, too. And that’s why Trump kept Comey on at first—he thought he was an ally.
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
@bijouxbroussard that’s not how this works lmfao
@GlitterBug That’s exactly how it worked out this time.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
I'm curious about the Trump supporter take on it if any are kicking around in this thread.

Trump is signalling a shift away of the current global order of allying with western democracies both economically and militarily. He is showing great rival to an old adversary in Russia, and condemning his allies.

What's the goal here? When he's made America great again, who are its allies and what is the relationship?
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
@CountScrofula I was mistaken when I said we left the EU by the way, we did not. Not sure why I thought we did.
I think there’s just a whole lot of corruption honestly. These people say this and these people say that but nobody really knows what actually is going on. Like there’s supposed to be missing servers somewhere but someone is saying the servers were recovered and someone says they weren’t but it’s so back and forth nobody has the answers.
All honesty I think everyone is trying to tone down the aggressive mood that surrounds certain countries like Russia. We don’t have to be allies to get along and chances are if we get along, we’re not in any immediate danger. Problem is nobody likes trump. He seems to be trying to create a general atmosphere of comfort(though he has a shit way with words) but people aren’t accepting his efforts, instead they’re ridiculing him for the smallest things and wanting to impeach him for doing nothing wrong.
I think just a big combination of stuff is causing too much confusion and misinformation doesn’t help.
Sorry if I rambled too much or don’t make sense btw
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@GlitterBug Hey I appreciate the time you took to respond.

I think there's a WHOLE lotta bullshit going on about Russia and again - I prefer peace to war and Trump's strategy is certainly going to kill fewer people than Hillary Clinton's would have.

I don't care about the Russia DNC hack. Whether it happened or not, whatever. People still got to vote and all it did was expose the DNC as being against Sanders. Clinton sucks and deserved to lose, even if I think Trump is a nightmare.

But I think the general line of "Russia is fucking with us" is broadly correct and that doesn't seem to matter to Trump for reasons I find confusing. Seeking peace is fine. But "Hey can you stop flooding Facebook with political memes to get people to hate each other" is a reasonable request.

And nobody likes Trump because he was elected to stick it to the PC left and make liberals cry. Every other democracy is to the left of Trump. So they all hate him. Why wouldn't they? His job is to make them hate him.

You can't demand liberal tears and then get all horrified when they think your leader is a psychopath.
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
@CountScrofula very good points. I haven’t quite looked at it that way.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
Because Baby-trump is on an apology tour and his fans love it... just like they loved it when they accused Obama for apologizing on the world stage for the USA. The Baby-trump fans don't just love "the wall." They love apology tours. And, who's going to pay for the wall? 👂
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
I think we all got "sold out" as you call it back in 2014 when Obama was warned about it being a good possibility.
Remember what he said on a "hot mike"
I can be more flexible after the election.
AlmostAnAngel · 100+, F
@Ynotisay I don't believe we need to stoop to calling anyone names to get our points across...just saying.
Ynotisay · M
@AlmostAnAngel Thanks. But I have a pretty good handle on my life and behavior.
AlmostAnAngel · 100+, F
@Ynotisay okie dokie
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
All seriousness does someone want to take the time to chat with me and do the research (both of us) to talk about the points and figure out what’s true? There’s a lot of debate about what is true, that shouldn’t be the case.
Pherick · 41-45, M
@GlitterBug Ummm you just told me you didn't have time to find any of your own facts? Now you want to talk to other people and do research?

That seems disingenuous ...
Ynotisay · M
@GlitterBug The truth is easy. Trump sided with Putin over the intelligence community and the vast majority of lawmakers. He said it. For real. So the only thing to consider is 'why?'
But you're unwilling to acknowledge that basic fact. So why would you think someone would want to 'debate' or 'research' a false premise? It's nonsensical.
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
@Pherick not right this second lol later in the day. I’m willing to do that later today if you’d like to.
I posted a big long thing about why that was false based on what I know and have seen. @Ynotisay
AbbySvenz · F
Wow. Someone in the comments is drinking deep of the Kool Aid....🙄
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
The answer is, he's a traitor by every definition (conservative, liberal, etc.) of the term.
@MarkPaul I agree. He embarrassed, betrayed, and humiliated us in front of the world. He is either a conscious traitor or a weak and stupid fool.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Humanist321 Could Baby-trump be both?
LegendofPeza · 61-69, M
Putin either does have kompromatt on him or else he's just as obstinate as he is stupid. I lean towards the former but don't discount the latter.
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
Doesn’t mean they’re all of Russia. we have people in the US who are traitors but not all of Americans are traitors that’s ridiculous. Unless you’re Russian yourself I doubt you know more about how Russia works and operates than the rest of us.
