If you have any questions about where Trump's allegiance lies..

"I have great confidence in my intelligence people, but I will tell you that President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today."

He also said he didn't "see any reason why" Russia would be responsible.

That's following a two-hour, closed door meeting. We have NO idea what was discussed. And won't.

And there you go. He just sold us all out on the world stage. The question is why.

He committed treason, plain and simple. His actions are unbecoming of a president, and damage the nation. He needs to be removed from office before his continuing actions create more damage to the country.

Republicans who say you are patriots--where are you? It is time to stand up and end the insanity, once and for all. You'll still have the office and Pence. Stand up before it is too late.
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
Eh I like him. What treason did he commit? I don’t think he has damaged the nation, I think all the far left and far right are damaging it for themselves. @windinhishair

@GlitterBug Russia is our enemy and has been for many decades. There is no doubt whatsoever that they interfered in our election in 2016, and they are planning to again this fall. To aid and abet an enemy is treasonous behavior. Trump is assisting Russia at the expense of the US.

@GlitterBug I'm going to breath because you're young and explain something to you. Russia hacked our country. Russia worked to get Trump elected. This is a FACT as determined by EVERY intelligence organization we have. When the House and Senate voted, almost unanimously, to sanction Russia - Trump's first move was to refuse. Today, he told the WORLD that, in essence, he believed Putin over MOUNTAINS of evidence compiled by American experts.
So no. This right/left thing is out the freaking window. There's only the FACTS. So you might want to pay attention to them. This is happening in real time. You wouldn't know this but we've NEVER had a President do anything close to this in the past.

Conspiracies are fun but they’re not to go off of. Any conspiracy can be proven and supported if you dig deep enough, doesn’t make it true. Think about it, what is the end goal here? Trump won by electoral votes vs the popular vote, and I’m glad he did. Would you have rather Hillary be in office? Because if you’re smart and do your homework, which it sounds like you do to a point, you would know how awful it would have been had Hilary actually won the elections. You would know it’s awful that hillary is STILL not in prison for her crimes. Sanders was a socialist before he dropped out, lest we forget what democratic socialism looks like. Best option was trump. Or do you disagree?@Ynotisay
Ynotisay · M
@GlitterBug Uh...WHAT? Did you see what he SAID? Did you read what I wrote? What the hell is wrong with you? You can support whoever the fuck you want but WHY do people choose to willfully ignore the TRUTH?
I give two shits about Clinton or Sanders or any Deep State shit the lemmings spew. I'm talking about THIS SPECIFIC INCIDENT. Why is that so freaking hard for people? If Obama had done this? I'd flip out and I supported him.
All I can say is you're no American and, nothing personal, but it disgusts me when I see people purposefully avoiding the truth. It hurts us all.
I'm done.

@GlitterBug This has nothing to do with Bernie or Hillary failing to be elected. You just don't get it. This has to do with a foreign power hacking into our system to help a candidate. It doesn't matter who the candidate was--the issue is the hacking itself. A dozen Russians were indicted just last Friday for having done this. It isn't a conspiracy theory like Pizzagate. This is a factual attack on our nation and its sovereignty, and they are positioned to do it again this Fall. Our intelligence agencies and our former allies all agree on what happened.

Russia has more recently killed civilians in the UK with a nerve agent. This is not a government that we want to be friendly with while overlooking its actions. Actions matter. To side with such a government while we toss aside our former allies is treason. That's just a fact.
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
You guys are both missing my point. Bet you’re not very good at strategical games either. We have to have some sort of way in. Russia needs to stop, we can only go one foot at a time. Starting a war with Russia is not the right approach, so we take his one instead.@windinhishair
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@GlitterBug There are ways to engage Russia without complete capitulation to them. We don't have to start a war, but we don't have to bend over and grab our ankles either, as Trump did today.
@GlitterBug We weren’t at war with Russia before. But colluding with them (especially while antagonizing those who have been proving themselves our allies) makes no sense.
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
With Russia’s nature it’s best to pretend to be friends. Many people still legitimately fear russian attacks today in the US. It’s an inside job. @windinhishair
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@GlitterBug Actively siding with Putin over our own intelligence agencies and those of our former allies does not jibe with "pretend to be friends". We should fear Russian attacks. That's precisely why what Trump did today was shameful, disgraceful, and treasonous.
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
@GlitterBug they want Trump bombing Russia so they can blame him for starting a war.they want him to fail at any cost
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Virgo79 Trump is actively failing on his own, without assistance. His performance today proves it.
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
What is treasonous about what he did? @windinhishair
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@GlitterBug I already answered that question on this thread. You can scroll up and read it.
@GlitterBug You really don’t get it, do you ? 😳
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
Wasn’t treasonous. @windinhishair
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@GlitterBug His actions clearly meet the definition, but you are entitled to your own opinion.
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
By literal definition of treason he has not committed it. Nothing was a betrayal. Nobody was killed. @windinhishair
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@GlitterBug He's betrayed the US. Doesn't have to be someone killed. He's clearly aligned with Russia over the interests of the US. I'm not the only one saying that his behavior is treasonous. Even many Republicans are appalled.
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
You even watch it? He didn’t. @windinhishair
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@GlitterBug Here is the headline in the British newspaper The Guardian:

Trump 'treasonous' after siding with Putin on election meddling
GlitterBug · 22-25, F
Uh huh because people are saying he is, not because he actually is. I’m literally watching the news about it right now XD @windinhishair
@GlitterBug People are saying he is because it’s true.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@GlitterBug Watching Fox? They won't give you anything other than spin.

There is bipartisan condemnation of Trump's actions, and will continue to be.
