@Somebunny21 i would love to live in Texas or California and would buy a gun then learn properly how to use it.But I do have a major issue that the bad guys shoot back.

Oh they are wonderfully fun to shoot! Especially when the bullet hits the body sometimes, you get to see the person that you just shot defecate and urinate and their blood, guts and brains splattered on the floor, walls and ceiling!!! It great fun!!! Especially when they are children! All of them are defenseless! And just think, you don't even have to stop and reload, you can shoot and shoot, kill and kill, without thought or remorse! It's a beautiful thing!

@tallpowerhouseblonde It's not about what guns the military does or doesn't use, although you're right about the AR-15 and AR-15 "style" weapons the media loves to tout.
It's that the military and its members are the most regulated body in America when it comes to firearms. Training, ownership, proficiency and safety are all routinely checked and gun owners must adhere to strict guidelines. They are far more regulated than the average citizen.

@akindheart Or I have another idea. There are many non-lethal methods of defense just as accurate as a bullet. If you choose to have a gun, that is your right. I just wonder if it wouldn't be safer without one.

@tenente you do realize guns do not cause nearly as many deaths as say drunk drivers? Or how about kids killing kids because they can't put their fucking phone down while driving?
