@tallpowerhouseblonde The M-16 and M-4 are both AR-15 patterns. All the same gun in different barrel lengths and configurations.

@MethDozer Thanks.Thats something like I thought.I also heard the first M16s had a major jamming problem.
Here in England the military use the SA80.Its a piece of junk.

@tallpowerhouseblonde That was a tolerance in manufacturing issue mostly and was corrected early.
Bulllpups in general are junk designs.

@Somebunny21 I'm English so we can't own guns simple as.My boyfriend knows quite a lot about guns though.He says the 5.56mm round can be too small and a heavier round may be better such as the MP5s 9mm.

@MethDozer yes I believe it was rushed into production but all issues were later resolved.Unfortunately not soon enough as the M16 jammed in combat in Vietnam.

@tallpowerhouseblonde 5.56 isn't a bad round but your boyfriend is right. Personally I carry a Springfield 9mm XDM my dad bought me. I also keep an unloaded Mossberg pump action shotgun by my bed. Any one breaks in that is a very distinctive sound when I pump it.

@Somebunny21 i would love to live in Texas or California and would buy a gun then learn properly how to use it.But I do have a major issue that the bad guys shoot back.
