On a TV antenna. Wrapped around star-shaped pieces of cardboard to decorate a lampshade for my little girl. Wrapped around young trees for the winter to prevent the browsers from eating the bark. In the oven to catch messes and to make DIY baking pans.

You can wrap an uncleaned paintbrush in foil and put it in the freezer. Since the paint doesn’t dry, you can use it again to finish the job the later - whenever that is

Back when I was a teen I lined a closet with foil figuring it would help grow my pot plant but it did more harm then good because the wrinkles in the foil distorted the light.
