What documentaries do you like to watch?

Two films I found fascinating:

Abducted in Plain Sight
This is a controversial documentary about a girl and her kindly but very sheltered and naive family who, back in the 70s, were groomed and manipulated by an evil and very clever pedophile who, at one point, kidnapped their young daughter for months and got away with it, then kidnapped her again. The story has many unusual twists and turns.

The Sleep Room. This film is not really an actual documentary but a very accurate historical drama about MKUltra experiments done on mental patients in Montreal, Canada during the 1950s and the story of what transpired due to this situation over the years. I was deeply moved by the story and riveted to the screen. The film is condensed from a Canadian TV mini-series.

I really like - 1491 The Untold Story Of the Americas Before Columbus. Its a Canadian production on the knowledge network. I find it very interesting plus a lot of the episodes were filmed in areas I'm familiar with. Cheers!

I don't watch many, but I am good at picking them. Nature ones are okay, but event failures and very specific documentaries/docutainment about people/places are pretty good.

Mostly animal documentaries. Occasionally, I watch historical ones.
