Two days left before I'm out of that job forever

Well, maybe forever.

The only reason I say "maybe" is because even though I am happily leaving that place and pursuing better things, I am still eligible for rehire after 30 days. So if things don't work out with my next steps, I guess I have this place as a fallback.

I really want to go to school and get certified for phlebotomy, but I also have to be realistic and take my health issues into consideration. I'm not well. I have several chronic, incurable health conditions that affect my energy, my physical strength, stamina, and mental clarity. There are days when I am bleeding too heavily to even leave the house. There are days when I faint from blood loss and anemia. There are days when my depression or fibromyalgia make it impossible for me to focus on any task. I push through it as much as possible, but if I push too far, my body WILL shut down and I will end up hospitalized. It has happened before.

This all scares me and is my only worry when it comes to starting a new job or school. I don't have a support system. No family. No friends. Just me. So if I'm sick, there is no one there to make sure I'm ok enough to keep going. That's terrifying.

But what are my options? I'm unfortunately not dead yet. I have to make a living. I'd love to have a specific skill set that I can take with me anywhere, rather than just hop from job to unrelated job. I have to do this. I'm just scared.

Please give yourself time to let the situation "cool down" ,,, the job stuff will work itself out. The job market is crazy and they won't / can't / don't want to lose good personnel these days. See what happens with the job but don't give on school... you'd be great at it.

@heavyone2 my job has a revolving door. It was a red flag from day one, but I needed to pay bills.
