@samueltyler2 real life as well as online - but I don’t work with the online side. Usually not even the brick and mortar store. It’s small but growing. We sell a lot of services, tarot readers and such. It’s an interesting time.

I never had that one, but as a caseworker, it became status quo for me to be sent out for anyone who came in who was a) clearly living in an alternate reality, or b) just generally difficult.
I found them (almost always) at least interesting, not scary.
There was one tall, imposing woman, who came in, and first told me she had 10 children, each named after an Egyptian god. I had just read a trilogy about ancient Egypt, and while she definitely stayed demented, we developed an almost-fond relationship.
She referred to me as Miss Deity (a play on my last name).
Eventually, she was granted a car grant and bought a station wagon. The dealer called me to say the original title hadn’t come yet and she was insistent that she needed it TODAY, so he let her drive it off with dealer plates. I asked if he’d lost his mind and he laughed. He laughed until the police showed up to take him in for questioning about attempted homicide-by-vehicle, because she chased her ex around a parking lot three times. I don’t know why.

My adult son suffers from multiple personality disorder - that's just one of the many issues he suffers from.

@SoftIceCream Naaa, I’m not going to belittle her. She’s broken enough. I did ask why she believed herself to be but her answer meandered and led to the 4 horseman of the apocalypse. She’s married to them.

@nonsensiclesnail Hmm, yea, that is a bit deranged. You never know what they will do if they suspect you don't believe them. She can be the female anti-christ I suppose. I believe the male version is currently the president of America.
