I might be terminated tomorrow

My supervisor and my employee advocate scheduled a meeting with me tomorrow. That's never a good thing. I was absent last Friday, and though I used an FMLA day, they still get irritated when I miss a day.

I no longer care. I went ahead and packed up my things yesterday and took them all home, so that if they do let me go, it will be easy to grab my bag and GTFO of there. This company has caused me so much stress in the last two years, at this point I'm fine if they keep me and fine if they don't.

Three years of consistently handling more calls than my coworkers (I'm talking 60 to their 15), being harshly graded and marked down for speaking like a human being instead of AI, them implementing inefficient procedures and policies that make the job worse instead of better, and repeated disciplinary action against me for absences that are directly related to my multiple chronic health conditions that I have provided full doctor's documentation for. I'm done.

I have another job prospect that I hope comes through, because I feel like my time at this company is very limited.

@Convivial Get back to work

How would they be able to let you go if you're on FMLA?
LeGrotesque · 46-50, F
@DunningKruger they get away with everything, it's the government

If they want to replace you for an AI robot, just shout them the lyrics from an old country music song..."Take this job and shove it".
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Give me a real person in services over any parroting robotic moron anytime. Once I needed to check something in a bank and came across such bizarre clerk there that I wondered if he actually was real. I mean a face to face interaction. I felt 100% like talking to a robot.
LeGrotesque · 46-50, F
@CrazyMusicLover they're trained to act/talk like that. It's sad.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@LeGrotesque That guy had to also have a special talent for it because...wtf?
Degbeme · 70-79, M
They`ve reprimanded you for being human instead of a robot? That is idiotic on their part.
well just find another job. problem solved.

@vbxcfg wow where do you live that it's so easy? Lol I've been applying for jobs for months and barely got one call.
