@smiler2012 they've got a generator so most lights were on. In all my nearly 9 years there, they haven't let us out early unless we put in a time off slip to leave early.

@twiigss You should have seen the wild wind gusts and it was pouring rain. I was driving, and the gusts of wind would take a pocket of rain and just smash it against my windshield. Driving, I could barely see my lane on the highway because the backsplashes turned into white water cascades.

@4meAndyou when I still lived in MD I was probably 17 and I remember rain just came out of nowhere. It was so strong, I couldn't see anything and so I had my wipers on the fastest setting in my 1985 Oldsmobile station wagon, I had to pull over until it let up.
