Yes, when I was in a highly innovative and creative organisation.
No, when I was brought in to turn a failing Faculty round.

I tried not to be, but they insisted I be office manager and more and that automatically draws people to you for this or that.
I work from home now, thankfully!!

I seem to be liked by my co-workers and superiors. I don't know that I'm particularly popular, I don't get that much attention, but that is partly because I don't want attention. But my interactions are positive. I'm fortunate to work somewhere where I like the people I work with.

I was but most of the time I was not quite as popular as you. When in my earlier years me and some coworkers used to go out drinking and partying. The last year or so I got a bottle of wine from two coworkers for my 35th Birthday. Do they decorate a desk for everyone or just you? 😊
Finchy · 41-45, M
@Gingerbreadspice Mostly just for a few of the girls but they know I love it too and that makes it even more special

I don`t know if I was considered popular, but I was there when needed. Now I`m retired I`m popular with the wife because I do the housework. 🙄
It`s your B-Day?

Nah I've never been popular. No one has ever decorated my desk for my birthday, but I got a cake once, I happened to be working with a nice team at the time.

I am. But we’re a small group and depend heavily on each other. We’re all pretty popular in each other’s book.
DViper97 · 51-55, M
I try to be nice and friendly to all my co workers, however it’s very seldom we ever work together again. Every now and again it happens though.

@HumanEarth That is sooo awesome

Like two Fridays ago I was sent to go work at the wearhouse and some old V8 engine blocks fell down. The person that was showing me around took off to get a forklift.
By the time they returned. I already picked them up, stacked, another pallet on top of them and rebanned.
Just needed the forklift to put them back up on the shelf

I worked from home the last 15 years of my career, and I was wildly popular with my dogs for it.
Achelois · F
I’ve made some great friends at work.
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
I guess so. I've been there a long time and I'm very friendly.
Cigarguy · M
No I'm nice to my coworkers but I keep to myself most of the time
Acheron · 41-45, M
No I typically keep to myself outside of the few coworkers/bosses that actually require interaction.
TexChik · F
Yep! They love me or else! I’m the boss. 😂🤭
JackDaniels · 46-50, M
I am. Work at home. Lol
saragoodtimes · F

I guess. My room is the safe room.

Oh YES! Absolutely I'm extremely popular at my place of work!
Considering I'm the only one who ever occupies desk space in that office, I can be as popular with myself as I can stand in any one day! 🥳

@swirlie The popular girl.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
A little maybe. A couple of them had said, the only reason they showed up to the shift is because they knew I was on with them.
Another said I was worth my weight in cockatoo shit. (What ever that means)

"Infamous," or mocked, more so than popular.
