I got punched on the face today at work

He didn't mean to punch me. I was in the way trying to de-escalate the fight.
He got arrested.
This is the second time I get injured by a patient.
First time in Canada.
I am as tired as I was 14 hours ago but also in pain.
Just laying my head and resting.

This is happening in hospitals and professional offices around the western world (& maybe further?) to such an extent that they now have permanent security guards and signs saying that rude and agressive behaviour will not be tolerated.
I think it has something to do with the ice epidemic.
But it might also be due to cost cutting, "efficiencies", and ambulance ramping. People get desperate to be seen, especially if they have extreme pain or life threatening ill-health.
Some people are dying because they don't get seen soon enough.
I don't blame staff. I remember well back when this never happened.
I blame governments and their unwillingness to keep pace with larger populations and inflation.
So sorry to hear that... I hope it heals quickly.

Two patients? Or one patient?

That is bad for real . I am sorry for that .People here are dirty too . Many times specific violent category of people tried to attack me , I don't give them a chance and I call the security to deal with them. I am no head to go in fights with such rotten people. You too don't engage , just let the security take care of the issue.
I really hope you are not hurt critically.

sorry that happened.

Presumably you'll get some compensation from this?

@Caz82

🥱

Did you receive training and/or suitable equipment to intercede in fights?

🥱🥱

It is best for you to find some other thread to troll. You're being strange af and I am not interested in whatever you are trying to do here.
I'm usually the guy on the sidelines cheering on the hotter person to win.
@Miram Damn. Well, at least you're still hot.
