Before I had a daughter, no. I would call off when I felt sick. But after having my daughter, if I get sick I'll just wear a mask, warn my coworkers, & stay working.
I guess what's changed is that it's not just ME I gotta take care of anymore. Missing a day cuts into my ability to take care of my family & I put my family first

@Coralmist ever since COVID I wear a mask every time I get sick. So many people dying from illnesses made me realize wearing a mask isn't about whether you need it or not. It's about protecting others, especially those with weaker immune systems. Like if I had COVID & didn't know.. I could leave those germs on a table & that could possibly kill some random old lady without me ever knowing. I think about that every time I'm sick so I'd rather be safe than sorry. I might feel fine but if I pass my flu to a coworker then they can bring it to their baby or their grandma

@ChiefJustWalks It's really refreshing to see someone truly thinking about others. Thanks 🦋
I even wear the mask when not ill, it has definitely helped me when around many crowds in stores. I have not been sick in over two years now. The mask definitely has something to do with it because before COVID I got sick about twice a year. Thanks again!
