Depressing end to nice day
Well my husband and I were having good days and then my husband's evil company just schedules him to work Saturday. (We had cute Valentine's day plans) They have mandatory overtime. Which in our state they are allowed to fire you for not participating in. That's right they can make you work as much as they want legally and can just fire you for refusing.
They have been trying to force all their workers to work 7 days a week every day for an unknown duration of time. This is actually pretty NORMAL in the field my husband works in. Instead of being ETHICAL and hiring SHIFT WORKERS these shit companies just try to treat people like robots, give NO paid time off expect them to work 24/7. I have even seen him work at places that expected them to work 16 hours days 7 days a week for unknown periods of time OUT OF STATE giving like no notice in advance.
No matter where he goes to work it's the same. When I was working every place I went to treated its workers like shit too. Workers have NO RIGHTS again it seems the companies get all the benefits.
We just want to live. We are underpaid and mistreated. And now that also literally evil Trump is president I am just suuuure that will get SO much better. (Sarcasm).
