I wish you could find a job by availability.

I have zero help with my son so I'm limited as to where I can work. I would do almost anything if I could just have the hours I need. I would do customer service, I would shovel pop, I would clean grease traps... Just please allow me to still be there for my child.

I understand, i work crazy weird hours. some days earlier, Normal hours. Some days late. Which equals little sleep. I'm truly lucky i work for a company that allows me to be flexible with my hours and go with my daughters babysitter schedule. Basically, they don't care the hours i work as long as im there for pre set meetings and get my work done.

My wish is that you find a job like this
@Bexsy that's really amazing. I know it's hard on you, but it is something to be thankful for when you don't have a lot of help

If you wanted to do housekeepers they can make really good money in some areas. I have heard what some of them are pulling in and it’s huge amounts. But it would have to be filed as self-employed and the taxes are pretty high for that.
@cherokeepatti that would be something good to get into in my area with lots of wealthy and rentals. I helped a friend years ago and it's great money but I got tired of scrubbing barf off walls.

How many hours a day can you work?

I'm not prying, I'm trying to brain storm for you.
@calicuz five and it has to be days. I can do weekends too, but just days

@Matt85 yeah it definitely used to be a lot more simple. Most places would drug test you.

And I get they have a business to run and don't want to deal with people's personal needs.

I'm finding a lot lately that they'll advertise a job with certain hours and pay, you apply and interview, then they call and offer you a different job with a different shift.

It's weird.

@MarbleMarvel They really shouldn't do that. I think it's time someone restricted what they can and can't do lol. I know there are some rules regarding fairness in recruiting disabled people and ethnics but I think that's all there is.
