What's the most obvious lie you've ever been told at work?

i work as a barrista and the most common one is very clearly ordering a small/medium drink at till and then at hand off saying it's supposed to be a Large. we have this stupid "make every moment right" policy that means i then have to hold up the queue of other orders to remake theirs because someone doesn't wanna pay full price for their drink.

yeah i get that they're a bit overpriced but my solution is just don't go to starbucks then.
