When's the last time you got in trouble at work ( if ever?)

And what did you do to get in trouble? How serious was it?

Last time I ever got in trouble i guess was a job i had probably 10 years back and every single week i had to fight them to pay me what i was owed. The final week i work there i lost my shit over it. Was absolutely tired of going back and forth on this every single week and police were called, i was fired and escorted out. I threatened legal action the following week to get all that was owed to me and it got settled without the need of court and all that.
I will say that was trouble only because i was fired, but in saying that I think i was well justified in my actions, but unfortunately due to going through that, i tend to overreact when ever something at my job does not go as it should when it comes to being paid. I get overly paranoid and instantly in the worst mood and tend to take it out on those at work who dont deserve it

At my last position a few years ago. I was a part time nanny. The boy (toddler) was very ill and vomiting profusely. His skin felt SUPER hot, like burning. So I called 911. My sis was there with me, and she was watching his baby sister. So I call 911, and they come and take him into the ambulance. I started to get really panicky b/c I get VERY panicked in fast moving cars as a passenger. It is nearly a phobia. I became just really in a frozen state- I did not go in the ambulance with him. I called his mom and told her all about the event, and for her to meet him shortly at the hospital. It is about a 3 min drive or so from his house. So he would only be without me for a very short time, but in very capable hands, I knew.
Well she sent me a horrible email that was so aggressive, saying I 'left him' and that she didn't need to talk to me again. That was actually my last day of employment ANYWAY , so it sucked this all happened on that day. I did not get a reference. While I felt so badly about not going in the ambulance, I knew in my heart he was Ok, and getting treatment... I had even posted here about it that day. People were so kind saying I truly helped him and his life. And that a child's health is above anything. But it was not a positive day. :(

@Coralmist wow-that mother sounds super unappreciative! If you had waited, no telling what could've happened!

@Mardrae Thank you Mardrae. She just kept saying he was 'alone'. But he was NOT alone. his health took precedence over anything, and she just didn't seem to care about that. Ty Mardrae. 🌼

I am in tech sales. when i have poor numbers I get into trouble. Nobody hits them out of the park every month so I had end up with my shares of "get your numbers up" Last time was Oct last year because of my summer numbers.

quota production is more serious if you have a base salary (which i do ) and my production isn't covering my base. However I can suck in most tech jobs for 1-2 quarters before being termed for it--which has never happend to me.

the last guy that was termed for production on my team was termed after 12 months of rolling poor performance. I think 8 of his 12 months were in the red. But often 5 or 6 out of 12 will term a sales rep in most tech companies.
