Feeling it daily...

Hey peeps!
My job is draining the life out of me..i stand in sterl toed stinky boots on hard concrete floors 8 to 10 hrs a day..pushing and pulling palkwt jacks, using a torche wrench , and just exsist to keep payment on my bills. I am sleepy when i wake up, groggy when i get to work and tired as i lay down on my couch each and everyday after work. My two favorite times are quitting time and bed time. Im feeling it daily..i USED to love my job but..im kinda hating it now cuz its not as fun as it used to be...its just a cycle of sleep, work, sleep and i just wish my joy was very good. Has anybody else felt mundane like this, over your jobs? How do you overcome it?

Part of your problem might be physical. Do you think you could have sleep apnea? Or some other physical ailment, such as diabetes? I dragged through the day for years before I was diagnosed with both and got treatment, which helped a lot.

@DunningKruger its a negative for both. Physical dr says vitamin d deficiency so we found that but no diabetes, sleep test said no sleep apneas..thankful tho that urs is under control!!

@CloudAngel80 Another issue I had was a prolactinoma, a prolactin-producing tumor on my pituitary gland, which contributed to the whole range of issues, including fatigue. Or it could be a thyroid issue.

These bodies — they just don't last.

@DunningKruger was diagnosed hypothyroid. Given 150 mg levothyrixine rest of my life. Yes, our bodies are not made like they used to..chemicles tgat environmental idiots use in our foods, all natural or nothing 4 me.

Thats hard. That's how I felt when i used to work nights - constant zombie mode. Sounds like major fatigue.
Iknow its easier sais than done, but you might have to look for a different job.
