Work on A Sunday

5:30 hit and I have a 6 to 10 hour day of work ahead of me. I don't necessarily like the idea, but I took the job, so I will answer the bell. I give a bow and wave to others who must press themselves on a Sunday work day with uniforms and forced smiles. I also thank you, because it is men and women of this sort that really keep the world from failing. Thanks for the read. Better get to it. Peas....
Peas? It is my weekend off of work. I hear you. Do you recall when Sundays were days off work for most? I have always worked shifts in all my careers so it is a necessary evil. I find people are more relaxed on Sundays. That makes it easier. Still, working or not, it is my favorite day of the week. Get it done. Then return home to your castle.
@WhyldChyld I do not do word plays. I write. Society changed it because people thought they needed to work all seven days of the week. And profit. Money. Greed. It is horrid. You create your castle. Do take the time to meet. To date. Only you can do that. Women do not fall from the sky into your castle entrance. Have a smooth day.

@PoetryNEmotion I can see we will be good friends. You balance forwardness with sarcasm.
@WhyldChyld It is reality, guy. Dry humor and wit. I have plenty of friends online. I do not have time for more.

I used to wish I could work on Sundays. Less traffic, free street parking, empty office, empty trains.

But I have been working from home since the pandemic, so it does not matter. I still cannot work on Sundays, though. I wish I could since there would be no e-mails and meetings, unless others work on Sunday, too.

Sunday night is my Monday. We are expecting snow tonight probably around 10pm. I keep hoping they will send us all home. Bet we all have to work full shift though. People here have no idea how to drive in the snow. I grew up in the north, but very few here have had the training to drive on slick roads.

@PoetryNEmotion I use to have those kind of jobs. I all was hated it I rather spend time with family and friends on the weekends
@smileylovesgaming Some professions like healthcare and protection and firefighting and police, etc. do.not have that safe, quiet lifestyle. I hope you appreciate that.
