They were really tryin me at work yesterday ๐Ÿ˜’

I borderline lost it on a caller. She was mad that there were no appointments available close to her area (like I have any control over that), and kept badgering me about finding one or "squeezing her in". ๐Ÿ™„

I finally had enough and said "This is what is available at this time. I have no more information for you, so I am going to have to release this call." She stopped her bullshit real quick and suddenly got polite.

I fking hate people.

They need to switch to an automated scheduling system so you guys can focus on susbstantive issues.

I like when medical doctors and offices have automated online systems. You see a calendar of open times and select one. Also, you can key in all your information and not have to convey it all verbally.

With some cases, the first time I spoke to a human was when I showed up for the appointment.

And the next step would be to automate it all. I handle a lot of drivers license and all tax activities online and/or by mail. But maybe for passports they need to validate identities, etc.
