@DeWayfarer Ok. From what I can make out, in the UK every postal voting form has a registration number.
If you make note of the number it corresponds to a barcode that is added once your form has been ok'd as having been filled in correctly and put forward as 'countable'.
Thus theoretically it should be possible to trace your vote once it's been received and processed by the Electoral Commission.

Their website says approximately 500 people every election ask for their vote to be traced from postal delivery to ballot box counting.

Lot of people suspicious about how it works 😆
