American Democrats, how do you feel about the prospect of Biden getting a second term?

Obviously he's better than Trump but at the same time, he's over in Israel ATM and he seems so old and stiff. He looks like a reanimated corpse. I'm not even sure if he's going to survive the trip.

Biden has had a very good first term. I didn't have high expectations for him, but he has done a good job so far. Yes, he is elderly, and he certainly looks it, but he's also in very good shape for a man his age. And I won't say it isn't a concern. That said, I think the nation needs continuity of what little good leadership we have.

@DunningKruger ok you say he's had a good term but the Afghanistan thing was a bit of a shambles right?

@Jm31xxx Yes, absolutely, but that can't be laid entirely on Biden's desk. Bush created the mess in the first place, Obama made a serious mistake by not wrapping things up during his terms and Trump made everything he touched worse. Biden had to deal with the realities on the ground, and the realities on the ground stated that the U.S. presence in Afghanistan was a disaster from the get go and that the Taliban was going to restore itself to power no matter what. There's no way Biden wouldn't have a mess on his hands no matter what he did.

@Jm31xxx To his credit Biden ended the 20-year miserable Afghanistan quagmire. U.S. tax-payers were forced to throw over $3 TRILLION down that bottomless money pit, all for nothing. And thousands of dead and wounded American soldiers, and Afghans. The only people who benefited were corrupt defense contractors and Afghan warlords.
