How come technology illiterate person still able to do work?

My work has this new Mumba Ap for the phone. New we've had it for 12 months!
Its replaced the payroll office.. Fired 12 people and now they employ a pimply teen in India to manage the site. Trouble is. Its never worked for me.
I can't book sick days, annual leave, salary sacrifice, see what's going on in my Super. Adjust shifts or pick any up. Or work out why my Contracted 64 hours a fortnight has dropped to 61! I still come in at the same time. Do the same job. And get paid $90 less a fortnight and none of my managers give a f#ck.

They possibly have connections for the job not based on their skills.

I turn wrenches and run wires to the computers. Don't need to know how to use em.
