How does fathers day work ?

It isn't much different from any other day, other than my children giving me a gift. I spent some time remembering my father, who died 20 years ago. I just read some of his writings, and his words reminded me what a good man he was.

Similar to Mother's day we honor our Fathers sometimes with gifts or time spent doing what our Fathers want

I called my mom yesterday to see what daddy needed, jeans and underwear. Assuming Walmart has the jeans in stock he'll probably get both. I want to get him an underground fence for his puppy but that's gotta wait until I get paid which could happen as early as tomorrow. I'll need to go help him install it when I can.
My parents clothes dryer has quit, so I'll be going up there this afternoon to take him his gifts and see if I can help him fix that.

My son is living in another state but was planning to come back to Alabama today and we were going to get together for lunch or something. He's having bad luck with tires and couldn't get one fixed n time so that's on hold to another weekend. My daughter I haven't heard from in a year and no reason to believe that's about to change.

No idea. I have no kids, and my dad passed away when I was 5.

They don't have to do the dishes or take out the trash and they can hold the TV remote all day!

The greeting card companies make a few more bucks. But not as much as Mother's Day.

Idk it's more of an upper class holiday
