Would you quit a job if they didn’t give you lunch breaks

I basically have to eat at my desk, while constantly intrupeted by things happening. Or I’m given about ten or fifteen to myself if we are properly staffed.
I work 12 hour shifts, and the law says I’m entitled to at least an hour.

Completely understand this. My building does not have a break room so I am forced to eat at my desk, and be interrupted by coworkers, people coming in and out, even the manager asking me to do stuff. No one cares that you're trying to "unplug" take a break, and eat. It is very frustrating!. My only other option is to goto my car, which is a 5 minute walk away. They only give us 20 minutes to eat, but I work 8 hrs.

*Edit- I just realized I just responded to a 3 yr old post🤦. One that I've already responded on,3 yrs ago..it popped up tho🤷‍♀️

That’s ok
Better late than never lol
Thanks
As far as I’m concerned
You're at your desk, you're not on break

@iamnikki Twenty minutes?? I think the law is minimum thirty minute lunch, and two fifteen min breaks. (For eight hour shift)

@Coralmist yea, apparently people have been abusing. They are giving us 20 mins. We can take breaks thru the day but we don't have a break room so what good is it? People still interrupt you and ask questions etc because you're at your desk

@iamnikki Maybe walk to your car at lunch

@Coralmist my car is 5 mins away and the area is sketchy
