Hey, if you wanna help me make some money, live in the USA, have a good webcam and microphone and don't mind playing an UNGODLY amount of pictionary and charades to teach AI how to play charades and pictionary at $50 an hour for... Some reason?~
Pretty easy work if you don't mind just mindless repetitive soul sucking nonsense that just goes longer than you ever hoped it would, and if you earn like, I think one hour of work I get a free $400 bonus. Maybe it was 10 hours of work, I mean you'll figure it out. It's pretty doable, my brother was making like $1000 a week on there because he just has the willpower of a titan apparently.
You also get some money too I guess, but you're mostly just doing this because you love me though; not everything needs to be about you. 🤔
FAQ:
1) If it makes you miserable, why do you do it? After 1000+ rounds of pictionary and charades I have a very hate/hate relationship towards it.
2) Is this a scam? Nah, just a weird-ass job.
3) OMG TEIRDALIN HAVE YOU BEEN HACKED??!? Nope, worse- I gotten an actual job.
4) Do they actually pay out? Yeah, I made like, a few thousand so far apparently which is kinda crazy.
5) OMGGOMGMM YOU SUPPORT AI HOW DARE YOU, I HATE YOU I mean, it's literally just a job which I can do from home and pays $50 an hour where I literally just have to draw pictures of space ships and cartoons, yeah I'm doing this stupid job.
6) What if they sell my personal information to china!?!? China already has all your personal information, look at Walmarts privacy policy. https://corporate.walmart.com/privacy-security/walmart-privacy-notice It is the most dystopian thing in the world.
7) I don't want to be made into an AI spokesperson!!! Literally they already can make an AI spokesperson of you by giving exact details on your appearance as all humans are composed of similar features, it makes no difference that your data is added to the machine, and even then nobody is going to use YOU SPECIFICALLY to make a spokesperson when they can have a generic yes-man looking spokesperson that they generated themselves..
8) Looks a little sketch to me. They're NVIDIA affiliates.
9) Omg do I have to actually.. Interact... WITH PEOPLE?! Yes, they're mostly nerds though, fortunately. And a handful of douchebags too, they're fortunately the minority though.
10) For tax purposes what is this qualified as? It's gig work and you have to fill out a 1099, fortunately Dots (what they use to payout with) helps with that from my understanding.
Pro tips if you do get accepted and end up in Pictionary/Charades hell like me:
1) Buy a whiteboard as people who go "Ooohh I have nothing to draw with" are the bane of us pictionary players existence.
2) Beach Huts can be anything you want; I find just putting spongebob houses works great and is free moneys.
3) Watch Lord of The Rings, Harry Potter, and Star Wars. You get SO MANY subjects to draw for Fantasy Creatures, Fictional vehicles, Robots, and monsters.
4) The rules of ze pictionary are simple, one person asks, then the other draws first till you guess it. Then you go back and forth drawing and guessing. It's pretty simple.
5) The admins might be AI, I don't know; I have been tempted to ask but I feel like I shouldn't risk my job by questioning their existence.
6) It's totally okay to just not do your tasks, I only do like ten a day because I am so burned out. But the maximum cap earned till you get removed from the project is like $5000. I would recommend for the first few days hitting you limit, ALSO listen to advice from other users.
7) Look up on youtube how to improve your mic quality with REAPER, and ignore all the "Oooh you're not suppose to use sound gates" messages on Babel, sound gates are your friend when they're being such audio snobs.
8) You can earn an additional like, $125 ontop of your bonus $200 if you have a friend with a Chime account send you a referral code and you have your payment go into your chime bank. I don't think anyone is EVEN READING this so I'm not even going to bother generating one right now.
9) Some other websites to make easy money are like, Handshake, yap-room, oto, annnnnd~ I forgot the last one. You need to be a US citizen for all of these stupid AI things.
10) Complaining at the admins that something isn't working is a viable strategy that sometimes works.
11) It goes without saying I feel, but use headphones. I mean seriously, all audio work should be done with headphones equipped. Echo flags will get you kicked from the project FAST, same with an overly noisy fan.
12) The five most important things: - A quiet room. - Good lighting with a solid background. - clear vocals. - A strong internet connection. - A good framerate and resolution.
Personally I started with a blue yeti and my Logitech HD 1080P webcam, and used my lamp and window light for lighting, and then upgraded to a HyperX Quadcast 2S and two big lights and a crazy hand made isolation box for my mic and it all paid for itself and then some.
Alright I'm off to sleep, get to work and make me some money, thanks love you bye.
