I aim to keep collections, but sometimes end up with clutter. So, then I sort out.
I like to keep an uncluttered mind as well. At least, I try. 🙂

It depends on how you display it. Some people put collections in display cases, nice shelves etc...then there's people who collect things and it looks like hoarding.

I wouldn't call it collections, rather stuff I might regret throwing out yet. As for real mess outside the drawers, cabinets and other storage spaces, if it's something you use daily, I don't think it's clutter. If you don't, better put it away to some cabinet so it won't take up space, stay in the way and collect dust.
