So this is something that has been in reconsideration for some time because although companies are making savings not having to have a fixed address (paying for rent, electricity etc) the businesses are suffering from poor collaboration, additional economic problems like cafes and other businesses that profited from commuters.
So it means there is less wealth over all.
That will have an overall affect on everything, especially when we can't slow down the rising cost of living etc.

@Mellowgirl Exactly, I think there is a push from Govt too as it is hurting small business in service industry. Many companies saw the benefit of not having to bare all the cost and emptied out all the office buildings. Now some are mandating hybrid model at much lower scale.
