Do all men ignore the details?

I have a guy working for me to put doors and windows in my house. They are put in ok I suppose but the trim work and caulking is atrocious. He says the curtains should cover most of the trim on the windows. Plus he's cheap and doesn't want to spend money on getting the best products. There's paint on the wall, cement splatter on the doors and one door he reused my old trim.
Every man I've hired has been like this for years. I'm so sick of men. I know there are exceptions but I'm over it.

I only do the best work and use the best materials regardless of what I’m being paid. As a consequence my clients are wealthy and are on a waiting list.

@Madmonk I should have gone with a professional. And I should have known not to have my best friends husband do it. He told me he was a lot cheaper. He was actually 1200.00 more, but I thought I'd help him out since he only works in the summer. Lesson learned.
