Ever Quit One Job Before Getting Another?

Long story, short...due to being jaded with my current teaching job, I am in training to assist at the clinic where my aunt works, in pregnancy termination. My aunt has been a provider for almost two decades and has inspired me to pursue this. But as the saying goes..."don't quit your day job before you have another one." So I wait. Know what I mean? 🤔

Technically, I just didn't sign the contract for another year when the first one expired.

No but I quit a second job with no notice. Just threw my apron on the floor and left

Yes. I thought I was going insane working for my boss, so I gave notice and started looking for a job, using no working hours in my search. I was out of work one week before finding a better, higher paying job. Good thing, since my wife was nine months pregnant and gave birth after I had been on the new job for one week.

So, you're happy to be killing babies.....🙄😳🙄

@Disgustedman You need to change your direction and choice of words. We are proponents of individual rights. The woman is in control of her body. Not an unformed clump of cells.

@JosiahForSure at some point it ceases to be just an unformed clump of cells
Disgustedman · 61-69, M
@JosiahForSure No, I don't. My direction is for honesty. I also encourage freedom of speech. So, you're 0 & 2.
I quit my first job before having 2nd and then 2nd before having 3rd, and then quit third to be a intraday trader
Depends on your finance, will you be able to survive a few months without job then yes.
Yes. When you think dying is better that job needs to go. Now

My current job drains my will to live.

I have done that twice. It's never a good idea though if you can avoid it. Employers do not like employment gaps.
That being said, job hunting is a lot of work and it can be draining to do while still working full time.
