Tim Hortons promises 20 minute fresh coffee...bitch, not when i'm working.
When i worked at Tim Hortons i would just erase the time on the pot and put another 20 minutes on. I'm not pouring a pot of coffee down the drain because it's a little old. Most people can't tell the difference anyway!
I can definitely taste when a coffee has been sitting on the heater too long, it gets a kind of caramel flavor, not unpleasant necessarily but definitely different.
