it is a sign of intelligence

@1490wayb Wow. And he talks as if I'm stupid.
1490wayb · 56-60, M
@purplepen keep your interactions to a minimum...everyone needs a circle of people around them they are comfortable with and can trust. it will be a very small circle most likely.

Being an RN - definitely normal to ask for clarification. You never assume anything with a patient's health and/or treatment.
scorpiolovedeep · 51-55, M
Didn't know you are an RN.

I know that some people hate it but it won't deter me. I refuse to be responsible for some damage just because someone rolls their eyes at me because something is obvious to them but not me if I'm completely new to it. Literally some plane crashes happened because a new, younger pilot was afraid either to ask something or to point out to something he noticed and thought was off.

I find it helpful to go beyond what they are asking and try to understand what the reallly need and want and the end result. I try to deliver more .
scorpiolovedeep · 51-55, M
Absolutely.

Plus it is your manager's responsibility to mentor you properly with all tools and resources.
Sure just not too many during a staff meeting - everyone wants to go home! lol. Ask later when it’s just you. 🤣

@DoubleRings Yes. One question to fill in some missing information.
ViciDraco · 41-45, M
Generally, yes. A lot of the time that people get upset for asking such questions is because they don't actually know the answers to what you are asking. That can cause some people to get defensive and they lash out.

Yes. I’d rather someone ask than not ask and do something wrong
val70 · 56-60
Always do. Even if you doesn't even respect the person nor the thing to do. All to do with doing it correctly
purplepen · 51-55, F
@val70 Yes.
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
Of course it's normal. I'd think that it's required
Younameit · F
For me it is. For some sour and bitter people, no.
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
Of course! It ensures that you actually deliver what people need.
