What are some of the random perks of your job? Like really unusual ones?

I work right next to the department greenhouse for the main central area for most of our hospitals and centers and such

So about once a month during the warmer months we can buy plants for basically a token cost

I bought 6 bell pepper plants for 1 USD last year, and all this was about 9

I've worked with several centenarians, currently my third. ( people who have turned 100 years and older) they've outlived everyone, including their own children. Being there for them, having them share their life experiences with me is the greatest perk that i can ever ask for.

I work very close to home so I'm able to get my son to and from school. And I work with elders who sometimes give me really cool old things.

Whenever I have skin problems I just ask my doc lol
Like free consultation.
