If you have an incident at work, what's the process for investigating it?

Are you stood down with pay pending investigation?

Something else?

How long does the process take? Do you get regular contact/feedback/updates from your supervisor/manager so you don't feel like you're getting 'shafted'?

It depends on what the incident is. And the protocol at the business everyone's policies are not the same.
