Does anyone else have a colleague who has started calling herself your “work wife” and is now getting a bit fruity over lunch?

I’m a Winnie the Pooh shaped forty something wearing a wedding ring. Ofcourse I’m delightfully charming but that’s my cross to bare.

Surely she knows what’s going to happen next. Absolutely nothing.

Used to have a “work wife”. She was a dear friend. Unfortunately about three yrs ago she developed early dementia and now she only a shell of herself. It’s terrible because she was one of the smartest and kindest people I have ever worked with.
