Got a deduction to my salary.

Got a message from HR saying I didn’t tap out last week. Yeah, we use those card scanners to check in and out, and if you don’t tap out — even if you tapped in — you won’t get paid for that day. That sucks of course, but that’s not even my main issue.

Like, if I actually didn’t tap out, fine, I’ll accept it. What really bothers me is why it took them a whole week to tell me. They asked me what happened — like bruh, how would I even remember something from over a week ago? I can’t even remember what I ate yesterday.

If they told me sooner, at least I’d have a chance to recall it clearly — like I’d know for sure if I tapped out or not. But after a week? Now I’m just second-guessing myself and getting frustrated because I honestly don’t remember anything.

I don’t know if they’re doing it on purpose so we can’t contest it or whatever, but man, it sure is frustrating. Just sharing.
